SAAS SEO Case Study

Zentrix BI approached us in order to make their brand more visible. They operate as a 3rd Party Provider of SaaS that helps integrate and present data in Power BI from SAP.

This presented a challenge as many big software companies already did this, including the companies that made the software - SAP & Microsoft.

Despite this, we were able to find great angles for content that would later rank above these giants, making for a great SEO case study.

The Goal

The goal was to rank in Google for SAP & Power BI terms that are related to the Zentrix BI business.

Our SEO agency was able to successfully find and rank keywords that potential software subscribers may search - leading to improved brand awareness.

How Did We Get the Rankings Up So Quickly?

The first step was to conduct comprehensive keyword research for the campaign. We were able to identify which keywords had volume and were practical to target. We then matched these keywords with the user intent of searches by analysing the types of results Google served for these search queries.

Once this was established, we created optimised pages for the keywords, ensuring there was no cannibalisation of keywords between pages that could confuse Google. These pages were then targeted using high-authority backlinks that further improved their rankings. Custom-made videos were added to some of the more important pages to boost rankings and conversions.

We also created a city-based series of pages targeting Power BI consulting, which helped the site rank for Power BI consulting terms in multiple cities across Australia and New Zealand.
