Tradie Training SEO Case study
BIT OF BACKGROUND
Rock Up Group approached us because they wanted to dominate the concrete polishing training space. Having had a poor experience with another agency, we were determined to prove SEO an effective digital marketing strategy.
Concrete polishing training is a very niche area, and there are a limited amount of keywords. Given this, and the relatively narrow offering, we were limited by our approach. Given Rock Up Group offers in-person training that provides hands-on experience, we opted with a city-based approach.
After just 2 months, we were able to achieve 1st position rankings for the main keyword, concrete polishing training, as well as first page rankings for almost all of the Australian cities we targeted, including some of the biggest ones (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane), making for a great SEO case study.
The goal was to rank in Google for concrete polishing training, as well as city based concrete polishing training keywords
Our SEO agency devised a plan to achieve higher rankings for both general concrete polishing training keywords and location-specific terms structured as ‘concrete polishing training + X city’.
HOW DID WE GET THE RANKINGS UP?
The project’s biggest challenge was conducting keyword research and mapping. After identifying the suitable keywords for Rock Up Group’s offerings, the focus shifted to devising an innovative SEO strategy that could attract the most traffic. Our approach was to employ programmatic SEO to develop city pages for concrete polishing training.
In addition, competitor analysis helped us determine the best keyword densities and SEO entities to incorporate into the pages. As a result, we achieved 1st position rankings for the primary keyword, concrete polishing training and first page rankings for most city terms. We also landed a first position ranking in the map pack for generic and Melbourne based terms as searched from Melbourne.
